Her journey at Sender One started in 2017 when her sister taught her how to top rope at LAX. Legend has it, she wasn’t allowed to come down until she finished. As the Customer Experience Manager at Lakewood, Melissa ensures that her and her team are continuously creating unforgettable climbing experiences. the contentMac started climbing in 2017, and quickly took to the challenge of connecting mind and body to solve problems. As the leader of the youth and adult instruction programs at Sender One Lakewood, Mac channels their passion for education, philosophy, and art into training athletes, coaches, instructors, and camp counselors. They also find solace in the beauty and challenge of the Black Mountain boulders and New Jack sport climbing. Beyond the crag, you'll find Mac slacklining, pondering the virtue of silliness, and cherishing moments with their two beloved pit bulls.
