HIIT

($10 Drop In / $80 for 10 Classes)

High-intensity interval training (HIIT) has become a popular way to burn fat in the gym, but that’s not all this type of cardio training is good for. The essential framework of high-intensity interval training is always the same: brief, all-out work periods, separated by rest periods that you wish were just a little longer. But no matter how long you rest, the key is that you bring everything you’ve got to your intervals. This 30-minute training will help get your heart rate up, condition your core, increase your strength, and burn plenty of calories. Our HIIT classes are among the most popular for overall fitness.

TRX

($15 Drop In / $130 for 10 Classes)

TRX Suspension Training is a total body workout that offers a fun and fast-paced way to build strength, burn fat, and boost your cardiovascular health. Each class includes body-weight exercises for both the upper and lower body, plus plenty of core work. TRX is appropriate for all levels and is a great cross-training method to help you achieve your fitness and climbing goals. Many of our students rely on our TRX fitness classes to build strength and stability for climbing classes, yoga, or our other fitness offerings.

CORE CONDITIONING

(Included with Day Pass or Membership)

One of the most crucial components to training for climbing is developing a strong core. This quick but intense weekly class will combine traditional core exercises with movements from yoga and pilates to strengthen your body in a challenging, well-rounded workout. Besides preparing you to send your projects, a strong core can also help to prevent injury and maintain good posture.

MAT PILATES

(Included with Day Pass or Membership)
Mat Pilates is done on the floor using a yoga mat.  Mat Pilates utilizes breathing patterns, specific exercises performed in a controlled, precise manner, and your own body weight as the primary source of resistance to build core strength and spinal stability. Learn to activate your deep core muscles in each movement for optimal strength.  Pilates improves muscle tone, body balance, spinal support, low back health, sports performance, and body-mind awareness.  Pilates is a safe yet highly effective way to strengthen, stretch, and streamline your body and improve performance in your daily life.  Appropriate for all levels, modifications given for beginners, pregnancy, and physical limitations.

Vanesa  is a fitness coach who specializes in building strength from the inside
out! She is a Southern California native, and lover of the beach and the
mountains. She graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a Bachelor’s degree in
Kinesiology in 2015 and is a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Strength and
Conditioning Specialist, and Certified Nutritionist.
She grew up playing soccer and volleyball and as an adult, she developed an
interest in lifting weights, in running competitively, in doing obstacle course races,
in rock climbing, and in all sorts of crazy physical feats. Today she continues to
push herself in new ways be it lifting a bigger weight, running a Spartan race,
trying a new activity, and she continues to learn how to move better, perform
better, and be healthier and happier.
