Experience the benefits of practicing yoga such as improved strength, balance, and flexibility, while complementing your other workouts and leading towards total wellness of body and mind.

Our yoga instructors teach a variety of yoga styles, accommodating students of all experience levels.

We offer yoga class daily and monthly yoga workshops.

Mats, blocks, and straps are available, although you are encouraged to bring your own.  Yoga towels and mats are also available for purchase in our retail shop.

This style of yoga links breath and movement through a nimble sequence of Sun Salutations and postures. The smooth, continuous flow deepens breathing, increases endurance, and will test the edge of your balance and flexibility. Vinyasa classes are best if you are already physically active, comfortable with the basic yoga postures, and appreciate a healthy sweat.
Strength Yoga is an upbeat and challenging fusion of yoga, mat pilates, and calisthenics aimed to tone and increase strength, balance and flexibility. All levels welcome.
Yin is a passive yoga class focused on deep stretching of the connective tissues that make up the tendons, ligaments and joints of the body. Yin postures are achieved standing, sitting or lying on the floor – and are held for 3-5 minutes. This is a perfect balance to an active life, creating softness in the body and stillness in the mind.
For a completely integrated practice, this class combines a strong heating “Yang” vinyasa flow with the quiet cooling “Yin” aspects of relaxing restorative poses. Yin postures are held longer to cultivate a meditative mindset and deeper physical opening.
A deeply relaxing practice of supported poses, guided relaxation, yogic breathing, and an extended savasana (final resting pose). This meditative practice cultivates a necessary balance between body and mind while dissolving physical and mental tension. For any level student seeking to reduce the effects of stress.
This class is a vinyasa flow style community class that will be led by the graduating class from Rebecca Fink’s Teacher Training Program. This class is free to both members and non-members.

Each week, the class will be taught by a different instructor. Each learning to find their own voice.

Please enjoy this community class at Sender One. If you would like to climb after, there is the normal day pass rate which will need to be paid at the front desk.

CROSS TRAINING

FITNESS

Our fitness area features first-in-class strength, cardio, and core fitness equipment. Our equipment includes the latest Precor Adaptive Motion Trainers, EFX cross trainers, treadmills, and both recumbent and upright exercise bikes.

The strength training area includes the CT-8 cross training rig, a lat pulldown / seated row machine, combination leg extension / leg curl machine, assisted chin-up / dip machine, as well as benches, free weights, and kettlebells. Also included are a range of medicine and swiss balls.

Use of the fitness area is included in your day pass or membership.

This interval training will get your heart rate up, increase your strength, condition your core, and burn tons of calories!
Duration: 30 minutes
Cost: $80 for 10 classes or $10 to drop-in

CROSS TRAINING

AERIAL SILKS

Aerial Silks is a great complement to your climbing practice, developing grip and upper body strength as well as flexibility.

We offer classes of varying difficulty which provides everyone with an aerial experience suitable for their level.

Intro to Aerial Silks is a two hour workshop that will provide you with the fundamentals for an aerial experience at Sender One. This workshop will cover the basics of climbing on the fabric, inverting (going upside down), and foot locks, as well as drills for proper form.  Aerial Silks is a great complement to your climbing practice, developing grip and upper body strength as well as flexibility.

No experience is necessary. Each workshop will cover the same material.

Cost: $40 for members, $60 for non-members

Aerial I builds upon the skills learned in the Intro Workshop, such as climbing, inverting, and footlocks. This class will cover new ways to climb and descend the fabric, how to control your spin, footlocks in the air, and more inversions. We will also begin to build sequences from single and double footlocks.

Cost: $25 for members, $35 for non-members
Duration: 1 hour
Prerequisites: Has taken the Intro to Aerial Silks Workshop at Sender One OR has prior silks experience

Building on the moves and sequences learned in Aerial I, Aerial II focuses on longer and inverted sequences. We will be working transitions between known moves and beginning to learn the wraps for several drops.

Prerequisites: Prior silks experience and approval by instructor, as well as the ability to invert in the air

The emphasis of this mixed level class is on fabric theory, conditioning, and technique. We will focus on breaking down moves, workshopping any projects, and building strength, flexibility, and spatial awareness for longer or more complex sequences.

Prerequisites:  Has taken the Intro to Aerial Silks Workshop at Sender One OR has prior silks experience

Youth ages 8-17 can now enjoy our NEW Youth Aerial Silks classes. Aerial Silks are a fun and creative way to develop strength and flexibility while learning basic climbs, footlocks, inversions, and sequences on the fabric. Each class includes warm up exercises, skill work, and conditioning drills that focus on improving balance, coordination, and body awareness.

Cost: $25 for members, $35 for non-members
Duration: 1 hour class
Prerequisites: No prior experience necessary!
