Rope Skills
Great for new & experienced climbers looking to expand their rope climbing skills.
Intro to Climbing
This course is designed for people with little or no climbing experience. You will learn basic knot tying, climbing commands, safety checks, and how to Top Rope belay — manage the rope while the climber is climbing. After completing this course, students will be able to Top Rope climb with a partner at Sender One.
Cost: Free for Members and Punch Pass Holders (uses a punch), $39 Non-Members

Intro to Lead Climbing
Already have experience top roping, and are interested in taking on a new and exciting challenge that will test your skills? Take our introduction to lead climbing class! This two-part class will teach you how to lead climb, how to belay a lead climber, and the proper way to fall.
Cost: $129 for Members/ $179 Non-members
Duration: 2 days, meeting once per week for 2.5 hours
Prerequisites: Able to onsight 5.10b or V1, Top Rope Certified, 6+ mo. climbing experience
Age requirement: 14 years of age and over
Includes: Rental equipment and day pass

Book Intro to Lead Climbing
Accelerated Intro to Lead Climbing
This is a slightly condensed version of our Intro to Lead Climbing class, with a single session that will cover everything you need to know about lead climbing and belaying a lead climber. If you want to start lead climbing right away, take the faster route (pun intended) and book this class.
Cost: $129 for Members/ $179 Non-members
Duration: 5 Hours + 30 min. break
Prerequisites: Able to onsight 5.10b or V1, Top Rope Certified, 6+ mo. climbing experience
Age requirement: 14 years of age and over

Advanced Lead Climbing
This 2-hour class is designed to give you the tools to advance and improve your lead climbing and belay skills to the best of your abilities. Topics include better lead climbing techniques, dynamic belaying, and mental approaches to combating stress and fatigue on the wall. Expect a significant amount of lead fall practice.
Cost: $39 for Members/ $59 Non-Members
Duration: 2 hours
Prerequisites: Lead Belay Certified

Movement & Technique
Great for beginner and experienced climbers looking to fine-tune their climbing technique, maximize efficiency, and unlock beta.
Foundations I: Movement & Technique
Ever wonder how climbers make it look so easy? Find out in this three-part series, meeting once per week for two hours. Lay the foundation for smooth and efficient climbing and you learn to push instead of pull your way up the wall.
Cost: $119 for Members/ $169 Non-members
Duration: 3 Days, 2-hour sessions
Prerequisites: Top Rope Belay Certified
Age requirement: 14 years of age and over

Foundations II
This class is intended for those who have taken Foundations I, or who can onsight .11a, v3 - comfortably. A Sender One top rope belay card is required. Lead Climbers are encouraged!
Foundations II is for those who have learned the basic climbing techniques, but are struggling with attaining that elusive “next level” in their climbing. Whether it’s solidifying at a current grade or breaking through a performance plateau, Foundations II will give students the strategies top climbers use to achieve routes at their limit. As well as the how, what, when, and why to train their physical, and technical abilities.
This class is broken into two different monthly foci:
One month will be primarily focused on Rope Climbing, with two days on the ropes focusing on the skills, and tactics that allow most rope climbers to advance and take on harder challenges, and a third day on boulders, learning the benefits of shorter walls for training, and the training tools available at our facility.
The alternating month will be a primary focus on boulders. This will be a deeper dive into the skills and drills that improve movement, strength, and power generation. The final day will be a look at projecting tactics, mindset shifts, and finishing with some power endurance drills, to send them to the next level.
Cost: $119 for Members/ $169 Non-members
Duration: 3 Days, 2-hour sessions
Prerequisites: Top Rope Belay Certified, climbing: 11a, v3 - comfortably
Age requirement: 14 years of age and over

Crack Climbing
From hand jams to tape gloves, you'll leave this intensive course equipped with tips & techniques to master the art of crack climbing.

Frequency: 4th Tuesday of each month, 6:30-8:30pm
Duration: 2 hours
Prerequisites: Able to onsight 5.10b or V1, Top Rope Belay Certified

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel your reservation for one of our climbing classes, you can transfer the paid class registration to an alternate date if you contact us at least 24 hours before the start date of the class. Refunds will not be given for cancellations, but you may be issued a credit for the amount paid that you can put towards other climbing classes with us.
