I'm New to Climbing
The best way to get into climbing is to sign up for one of our Intro to Climbing classes (Ages 14+). We offer Intro to Rope Climbing and Bouldering classes at all of our gyms. Learn the basics, build confidence, and start your climbing journey with us.
I've Climbed Before
Already a climber? Find your Sender One location to get started. If you’re rope climbing, you’ll need to pass a belay check to show us you know how to belay. Discover our gyms, yoga and fitness offerings, and community events.
Families & Kids
The best place for families and kids to climb together is Sender City — our colorful, interactive climbing area designed for all ages and ability levels. It’s the perfect way to introduce climbing through play, adventure, and fun!
New to Climbing? Start Here
New to climbing? Don’t worry — we’ll guide you every step of the way.
- Climb higher with the support of a rope and a partner!
- The rope runs from your harness through an anchor at the top and back down to your belayer, who manages the slack as you climb.
What is Bouldering?
- Climb shorter walls without ropes or harnesses — just you, the wall, and soft padded flooring below.
- It’s a great way to build strength, balance, and problem-solving skills.
- No experience or partner needed — just grab your shoes and start exploring!
What to Wear & Bring
- Wear flexible, lightweight clothes that let you move freely.
- We recommend slim-fit activewear that won’t get in the way.
- Bring socks — we’ve got the rest!
- Climbing shoes, chalk bags, and harnesses are included in all classes or available to rent.
