Sender One is looking for enthusiastic, hard working climbers to join our team. We are looking for Front Desk Staff who want to share their passion for climbing with our guests, making it a welcoming and helpful experience for climbers of all ages.

As a Sender One Front Desk staffer, on a typical day you may:

  • Connect to guests with a big smile and positive energy;
  • Take first time visitors on orientation tours of your Sender One facility;
  • See things from customers’ perspectives and set them up with the offering most suitable for them;
  • Mentor new climbers and staff;
  • Provide instruction, encouragement, corrections, and information to other climbers;
  • Huddle with three to six other front desk staff;
  • Inspire new people to climb;
  • Take on and finish different projects and tasks and learn from them;
  • Manage the inherent risks involved with climbing;
  • Curate experiences and challenges for children and families in Sender City;
  • Monitor and enforce proper use of Sender City elements and equipment;
  • Report any problems or incidents to the on-shift supervisor promptly;
  • Sort, clean, and organize Sender One rental equipment and spaces.

Summer Camp Counselor

Sender One is passionate about educating children about climbing! We are seeking a Summer Camp Counselor who can manage and connect with youth of all ages, foster enthusiasm, and guide young people to reach their full potential. A Counselor should be an individual who can both inspire the youth climbers and relate easily with their parents. Enthusiasm and passion are a must, as well an infectious desire to discover new heights, and connect with the community of climbers!

As a Camp Counselor, on a typical day, you may:

  • Sharing your passion of fun & adventure by helping kids, ages 6-13, enjoy their summer break through climbing related games & activities.
  • Seeing things from other perspectives by working with a diverse group of up to 30 young participants.
  • Sharing creative beta with other Camp Counselors in order to provide the best possible experience to each of the kids and parents alike.
  • Climbing together by offering support, guidance, a positive energy, and encouragement to all Summer Camp participants.
  •  Learning from your beta while identifying and preventing any risks or hazards to keep each day focused on fun.

Youth Programs Coach

Sender One is passionate about educating children and teenagers about climbing! We are seeking a Youth Programs Coach who can manage and connect with youth of all ages, foster enthusiasm, and guide young people to reach their full potential. A Coach should be an individual who can both inspire the youth climbers and relate easily with their parents. Enthusiasm and passion are a must, as well an infectious desire to discover new heights, and connect with the community of climbers!

As a Youth Programs Coach, on a typical day, you may:

  • Instruct and inspire groups of six to twelve kids, ages 6-17, on techniques in Sender One’s training curriculum;
  • Empathize with and provide excellent service to both parents and their children;
  • Adapt and modify coaching techniques when needed to keep your group engaged or address the needs of a particular athlete;
  • Support, guide, positively reinforce, and encourage all Youth Program participants;
  • Help to improve the Youth Program and its offerings, both recreational and competitive.

This could be a good job for you if you are someone who:

 

  • Has experience working with youth, ages 6-17, professionally, as a coach or in camps;
  • Provides excellent customer service;
  • Solves problems and thinks fast on your feet;
  • Likes working collaboratively;
  • Can inspire, motivate, and develop participants;
  • Has climbed consistently for at least the past 2 years, more experience is preferable.  Your climb both indoors and outdoors regularly and frequently.

Your time commitment to the Sender One team:

  • Work at least one weekend day (Sat-Sun) per week.
  • Work six to eight hours per week; a minimum of eight days per month.  As the number of participants in our program grows, the commitment could increase to twelve or more hours per week.
  • Attend quarterly staff meetings.

Marketing Coordinator

Sender One Climbing is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive Marketing Coordinator to join our team! The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate in what they do and can provide marketing support while working closely and collaborating with the Marketing Manager.

As a Marketing Coordinator, on a typical day you may:

  • Schedule, produce, and establish timely delivery of emails, social posts, and website updates
  • Assist in developing and implementing social media, email marketing, and ad strategies across various platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and Mailchimp
  • Manage the Sender One blog, in addition to researching and finding bloggers to contribute to the blog
  • Coordinate with all company departments to ensure cross-departmental communication
  • Work with the graphic design team to communicate design needs and to ensure brand consistency
  • Promote and enhance company reputation by providing a professional and effective work ethic
  • Represent Sender One at local outreach events, community events, or large scale in-house events
  • Take on and complete different projects/tasks, and use learned skills to contribute to the Marketing Team
  • Perform a range of administrative and marketing support duties for the Marketing Team

Yoga Instructor Substitute

As a Yoga Instructor, in a typical class, you’ll need to:

  • Connect to students with a big smile and positive energy;
  • Mentor new yogis and staff by understanding their viewpoints and sharing yours;
  • Provide instruction, encouragement, adjustments, and other information to students;
  • Inspire new people to discover yoga;
  • Manage the inherent risks to your students involved with practicing yoga.

You are someone who:

  • Provides excellent customer service and attentive instruction;

  • Develops new and creative sequences to teach as well as adaptations for each student;

As a Weekend Events Staff member, on a typical day you will:

  • Connect to guests with a big smile and positive energy;
  • Lead groups of children through icebreaking and team building activities;
  • Guide participants through interactive climbing challenges in Sender City;
  • Manage the inherent risks involved with climbing as guests;
  • Instruct guests on the competent and acceptable use of our equipment and facilities;
  • Take guests on orientation tours and provide information on our offerings;
  • Determine the offering best suited to a guest and get them doing it;
  • Participate in a daily huddle with three to six other front line staff;
  • Inspire participants to attempt and complete new challenges they did not believe they could.

This could be a good job for you if you are someone who:

  • Has experience working with kids and groups (professionally a plus);

Groups & Parties Coordinator

Sender One is looking for an enthusiastic, hard working Event Coordinator to join the Events Department at Sender One who wants to share their passion for climbing with our guests, making it a welcoming and helpful experience for climbers of all ages through parties and events at Sender City and Sender One.

As the SNA Event Coordinator, on a typical day you will::

  • Answer questions about events and parties from guests and Sender One staff through face to face interaction, phone calls, and emails
  • Book events and process payment of deposits;
  • Manage inventory of event supplies and order supplies as needed
  • Schedule staffing for events
  • Report to Events Manager with progress of projects, events leads, scheduling, and concerns
  • Train staff members on policies and offerings of Sender City and Sender One events
